Hello, I’m Heather!
I’m a licensed and board Certified Massage Therapist. I graduated in 2012 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in the Therapeutic Massage program of Baker College in Cadillac Michigan.
In the first 5 years of my career I worked in world class resorts, medical spas and massage therapy centers. Although I enjoyed working in these beautiful facilities with some exceptional practitioners, I always felt like I was missing my calling.
I decided to open my own practice to focus on my passion, helping people manage stress and live pain free. My mission is to provide the highest quality of natural healing through therapeutic massage treatments. In fact, my husband often refers to me as the Sherlock Holmes of massage therapy; because I do a lot of detective work. My mission is to find out why you’re in pain and help you break the pain cycle by fixing the problem.
Over the years I have seen a growing amount of stress induced pain (headaches/ migraines, neck, shoulder and back tension and pain). So I decided to do some research about the mind/ body connection because I believe that in order to provide the best possible results, I should learn more about how the mind effects the body.
And what I found was fascinating. Your mind can not only cause physical pain, but it can also eliminate it! This passion to learn as much about the mind/ body connection as possible drove me to hypnotherapy.
I became a certified Hypnotherapist because it opened my eyes to the level of mind/ body healing that can be accomplished by simply changing unhealthy thoughts, habits and beliefs. Although I love performing hypnotherapy sessions, my true calling is massage therapy for pain relief.
I offer massage therapy that is unique and helps you feel fast results. Whether you are experiencing general aches and pains or chronic headaches, migraines, neck tension, shoulder and back pain or debilitating sciatica discomfort- I am happy to help you find ways to manage stress and live pain free.
As a self-care and natural healing advocate, I enjoy researching and practicing alternative therapies and healthy living. In my free time I enjoy working in my garden and spending time with my family on camping trips, watching movies, and playing games.
